What if my fireplace arrives damaged?
You must inspect your fireplace BEFORE you sign for it with the freight company. This applies to all of our electric fireplaces (not the logs). By accepting and signing for your fireplace you are entering into a contract with the freight company saying that your item arrived undamaged and that you received the correct order. If you sign the freight company's form before you inspect your delivery, we no longer have recourse with the freight company if the order arrived damaged, and you now must individually file a personal claim with the freight company. This is the policy of the freight company. If your Electric fireplace arrives damaged, simply refuse the delivery and we will handle getting your new fireplace out to you ASAP.

How soon will my logs, log heater or fireplace ship?
The EP-SEL electric logs and EP-SH electric log heaters typically ship within 4-7 business days. During times of high demand (i.e. holidays) we schedule them for delivery within 3.5 to 5 weeks of placing the order.
Electric fireplaces are of the highest quality, are made to order, and ship within 8-12 weeks (2-3 months). All our fireplaces are shipped with our "front door delivery" for FREE (a $450 value). Our freight line will deliver your fireplace right to your front door.
All other electric fireplace logs, besides the EP-SEL models, ship within 3-5 weeks.

Do these logs look realistic?
The EP-SEL electric logs are extremely realistic and richly detailed - these logs feature flames that flicker and move. See our video of these logs in action from this page. These electric logs come with an ember bed consisting of tumbled glass creating the illusion of fire embers. The 2 light bulbs inside the unit reflect off the glass giving a very realistic look. There is even an optional ON/OFF remote control available for them that you can order from this page!

The RC electric fireplace logs are also very realisitic, but lack the flames, ember bed and optional remote control. These log sets are made of genuine birch or oak wood.

How do these logs look from the side?
The EP-SEL electric logs have flames which consist of two film layers made from a lightweight polymer. One is a yellow transparent film with a thin layer of orange paint and the other is a transparent pink film. There is an extra film of each in case one or both get damaged. The culmination of illumination, crackling sound, and wind creates a realistic looking fire. Additionally, you may position the top logs so that the flames flicker from the bottom (large) log up through the top logs. There is also an ember bed below the large log to add a more realistic touch. You will not see the internal workings of the flames from the sides because the large charred out log on the bottom hides the blower and the bottom of the flames from all angles. Do these logs make a crackle sound and can I turn the sound off?
The EP-SEL electric logs make soft crackle sound. The lively dancing flame strips create this sound. You may turn the sound off by simply lifting the flames out of the unit.

Some RC electric logs crackle, while others do not. If a log set crackles, it will say so in the description. A small metal strip in the back of the set makes the crackle sound in these logs. To turn off the sound, simply bend the metal strip slightly away from the unit.

Do I need the measurements of the fireplace the log set is going to be installed in?

Are all the electric logs and fireplaces portable?
Yes, they are just another piece of furniture.

Are the electric fireplaces made of genuine marble and real wood?
The marble used in all our fireplaces is genuine cast marble. When we manufactured the fireplaces using solid wood, the units often cracked. We now use a high quality wood veneer in our fireplaces. We offer both wood mantel electric fireplaces and cast marble electric fireplaces.

How long is the warranty?
1 year from date of sale for most parts and components.

How much heat do the heaters or log sets with heater put out?
4700 to 5000 Btu/hr (1400 Watts) of total heat. See our electric fireplace heaters here.

Can I operate the logs without heat?
Yes, the heater/fan is on a separate control.

Can I operate the logs with a remote?
Yes, our EP-SEL electric logs may be operated with an ON/OFF remote. Please click here to order an ON/OFF remote. This ON/OFF remote operates the EP-SEL logs only. It does not operate the other log sets or the heaters.

Do you sell replacement parts?
Yes we do. Some of the replacement parts available for the EP-SEL logs are offered on this page. For all other parts, just email or call us with which part you need and we will ship it to you.

Do you have a catalog?
Our catalog is entirely online. You may see all electric fireplace items we offer here.
How much is shipping for the logs and how do they ship?
That will depend on where the logs are shipping to. To find out, simply add the logs to your shopping cart and follow the prompts until you reach the cart page which displays applicable tax and shipping costs. We ship via FedEX or UPS.

How do I pay for the order?
Our online shopping cart accepts Visa, MC, AMEX, and Discover cards. Your credit card must be issued by a US bank.

What if I change my mind and want to return the logs or fireplace?
No problem. Within 30 days of receipt of your shipment you may return your order. You must return products in original packaging with all product information and instructions. If product could not be re-packaged and re-sold, it will not be accepted. We will issue a full refund for the price of any item you return that meets these conditions, less the 20% restocking fee and any shipping. Returned goods should be shipped prepaid to the shipping address we specify to you at the time of return. We can only refund shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. We will also need the reason for return. ANY orders cancelled prior to them being shipped out by us will be subject to a 3% refund fee.
Return Procedure:
Contact our Consumer Care department at (909) 338-2904 or e-mail us prior to return. You will be given a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, which must accompany the item(s) being returned. All products being returned to our warehouse must be authorized and reference an RMA# on the return packing list. We reserve the right to refuse any return that has not been authorized. The customer is responsible for return shipping. UPS or U.S. Post Office Insured Mail is advised. Please allow 2 weeks after delivery of your return for refunds or exchanges to be processed.
